We collect information you submit or post for your Splitty Sessions. We collect information that you post in any public space on the Platform. We also collect information when you contact us or when you apply for a job.
We collect demographic information. We may collect information like your gender and age. We may also collect your zip code.
We collect usage information. We may collect information about the browser you are using. We might look at what site you came from or what site you visit when you leave the Platform. If you are using a mobile app, we may collect location information, including your precise location, if you have enabled location services in your device settings. We may also collect device identifiers.
If you wish to invite friends and contacts to use the Services and join a Splitty Session you create, we will give you the option of either entering in their contact information manually or, for United States residents, importing it from your address books on other third party services. In both cases, we will store this information for the sole purposes of allowing you to send your friends invitations to join a Splitty Session, for determining whether your friends use the Services after an invitation is sent, to remind your friends of the invitation sent, or of the status of the Splitty Session they were invited to.
Consumer service:We use your Personal Data for consumer service purposes, including responding to your inquiries. This typically requires the use of certain personal contact information and information regarding the reason for your inquiry (i.e., technical issue, service question/ complaint, general question, etc.)

Collaborating with Others:The Services provide different ways for Authorized Users working in independent Sessions to collaborate within those Sessions sharing data such as product and activity choices, as well as distribution details after the Session is over. This information may be shared with other Authorized Users within the same Session. Other information, such as an Authorized User’s username, may be shared with other Authorized Users within that same Session.
Marketing and other promotions:With your consent (where required), we use your Personal Data to provide you with information about goods or services (e.g. marketing communications or campaigns or promotions). This can be done via such means as email and postal mailings to the extent permitted by applicable laws. Some of our campaigns and promotions are run on third party websites and/or social networks. This use of your Personal Data is voluntary, which means that you can oppose (or withdraw your consent in certain countries) to the processing of your Personal Data for these purposes. You can also unsubscribe from promotional emails by: (1) following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails; or (2) emailing us at contact@splitty.co You may update your email preferences at any time. Please note that even if you unsubscribe from promotional email messages, we may still need to contact you with important transactional information related to your account and your use of Services. For example, even if you have unsubscribed from our email messages, we will still send you emails relating directly to an active Splitty Session.
If you are a California resident who has provided personal information to us, you have the right to request (1) a list of third party companies to which Splitty has disclosed, within the pat year, personally identifiable information pertaining to you for that third party’s direct marketing purposes, and (2) a list of the categories of personally identifiable information disclosed. Please note that we are required to respond to one request per California resident each year, and we are not required to respond to requests made by means other than through this email address.
